Two Ways to Win
A Twitterick is a rhyme on Twitter that loosely resembles a limerick. It has five lines: The first, second and fifth lines rhyme with one another; the third and fourth lines rhyme separately.Write a Twitterick about your home buying experience and send it to us. We’ll choose the best ones to receive the prizes below. When entering the Twitterick Contest, the homeowner has the option of entering their real estate professional’s contact information, which will enter the agent into a separate random drawing for prizes.
Your Twitterick must be no longer than 132 characters, including spaces and punctuation – short enough to fit in a Tweet. It should tell us something about your home buying experience, your real estate agent or your new home, and must include the characters @1stHome. (The online submission form will automatically add @1stHome for you; these characters do not count against the 132 limit for your Twitterick rhyme.)
To enter, you must have purchased your first home prior to Apirl 30, 2010 or otherwise qualify for the federal tax credit for first-time homebuyers as outlined in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
Remember to keep it clean… and provide fun rhymes your mom would approve. For official rules and eligibility, click here.
